The Love Story

One day, I found a big secret of my best friend. When I was walking home from school, I found a love letter in my school bag.

Without even thinking of my own curiosity, I started to read it. I was surprised that the letter was written by my best friend whose name is Tom. It was a letter for my best friend who is called Amy. After I read the letter, I felt very funny that Tom was afraid to talk with Amy.

Next morning, I laughed at Amy and said, ‘Somebody is used to loving you for a long time and you know him,’ I continued, ‘he is our best friend.’

Amy played with her long straight hair and finally whispered, ‘What are you talking about?’

I replied, ‘It is Tom, he likes you!’

‘Stop talking,’ Amy insisted. ‘I can’t believe it.’

I couldn’t bear that Amy doubted me. Then I showed the love letter and gave Amy. At that moment, Tom was coming and also saw his letter. He felt embarrassed and kept quiet.

I looked at Tom carefully. He had short black hair, fair skin, round eyes and thin mouth. I thought he was handsome. On the other hand, Amy has long straight hair, dark eyebrows and big eyes. She is a pretty girl. I thought they were well-matched.

Just at that time, their faces were turning red. And I also knew what happened between Tom and Amy. They all loved with each other.

Recently, I have read a storybook which is called Queen of the Pool. The writer is Jan Weeks. I find one of the main character is meaningful. She is called Selena. Selena has a dark skin, brown long hair and big eyes. She is a beautiful girl.

Selena is brave. Because she is not good at swimming and even hates it, but when she sees a child sine to the bottom of the pool, she without thinking of her own fear saved the child. Finally, the child is safe and his mother thanks Selena.

Selena is also hard-working. She spends a lot of time to learn swimming. She swims every weekends. Now, Selena has finally learnt to swim and she feels so happy that she is not afraid of the water any more.

I think this storybook is educational. Ican learn many things from Selena. For example, we should help people who has difficulties as probably as we can. We also should be hard-working for our studies. We know that every problem has to be overcome if we are hard-working. Then we will get the higher mark.
